This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you use the A23D platform, website, plugins, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). It also describes your rights and choices regarding your personal data. This Policy is incorporated by reference into the A23D Terms of Service, Fair Use Policy and End-User License Agreement (EULA), and by using the Service you agree to the data practices described here. If you do not agree with our handling of your information as described in this Policy, please do not use the Service.

Note: A23D itself does not store your full payment card numbers -- payments are handled securely by third-party payment processors compliant with applicable security standards.
Content and Communications: If you contact customer support or otherwise communicate with us (for example, via email or support tickets), we will collect the information you choose to provide in those communications (such as inquiries or feedback). We also collect any content you submit through the Service, such as comments, reviews, or support requests.

We collect this data to understand usage patterns, secure the Service, and improve our offerings. We use transaction data to fulfill your orders, manage licenses, and track downloads in compliance with the EULA and Fair Use Policy.

This includes confirmations of purchases or downloads, important updates about your account or subscriptions, and notices about changes to our terms or policies. You cannot opt out of these essential service communications. With your consent or as otherwise permitted, we may also send you newsletters or promotional emails about new assets, features, or offers you might be interested in. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in those emails.
Enforcement of Terms: We may use usage data and other information to monitor for potential misuse of Assets or violations of the EULA (for example, detecting if an account is downloading unusually large numbers of assets beyond its plan, or sharing credentials). This helps us protect our intellectual property and ensure users adhere to license restrictions. If we detect possible violations, we may use your information to investigate and take appropriate action (such as contacting you for clarification, or suspending the account as per the EULA and Fair Use Policy).
Improvement and Development: We analyze usage data, feedback, and support queries to understand how the Service is used and where it can be improved. This data helps us troubleshoot problems, develop new features, and enhance user experience. For example, if many users experience an issue with a particular asset or plugin, the technical information helps us identify and fix the problem.
Security and Fraud Prevention: We use information (particularly technical and usage data) to maintain the security of the Service, to prevent fraud, cheating, or abuse, and to protect both A23D and users. This includes using certain data to verify user identities when necessary, detect suspicious activity, and prevent unauthorized access to accounts or assets.
Legal Compliance: We may process personal data as required to comply with applicable laws and regulations, or to respond to lawful requests or orders from law enforcement or other government authorities. For instance, we could retain transaction records to fulfill financial reporting obligations, or use account and usage information to comply with a court order or to exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.

We understand the importance of keeping your personal information confidential. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We only share information in the following circumstances:

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

General Retention: In general, we will keep your account information and content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service. We may retain certain information after account termination if needed for legitimate business interests, such as maintaining financial records, resolving disputes, or enforcing our agreements. When personal data is no longer needed, we will securely delete or anonymize it.
Account Deletion: If you request to delete your A23D account, we will initiate the deletion process. Upon your request for deletion, your account enters a 30-day "Pending Deletion" period. During this 30-day period, your account is deactivated and not accessible for normal use, but not yet permanently erased. This grace period is provided in case you change your mind or need to recover the account. If you decide to cancel the deletion during this window, you must contact A23D support within the 30-day period to request reactivation. If the 30-day period expires without reactivation, your account and all associated personal data will be permanently deleted from our active systems. This deletion is irreversible --- all your profile information, settings, and history will be removed or anonymized in our databases.
Backup and Logs: Even after permanent deletion of your account from our primary systems, some of your data might remain in our secure backups or log files for a short period. For example, our routine backups might still contain fragments of your information until those backups are cycled out. We also may retain certain minimal information as necessary for legal compliance or legitimate business purposes -- for instance, records of transactions (without personal identifiers) for accounting, or logs needed for security, fraud prevention, or auditing. Any such retained data will be handled in accordance with this Policy and applicable law, and will be deleted or anonymized as soon as it is no longer needed.
Anonymized Data: In some cases, instead of deleting data entirely, we may anonymize it so that it can no longer be associated with you. For example, we might retain aggregate usage statistics that are stripped of personal identifiers, for purposes of business analysis. Once anonymized, such data is no longer considered personal information and we may retain and use it indefinitely without further notice to you.

For example, you can ask that we stop using your data for direct marketing. In cases where our processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw consent at any time (which will not affect the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal).

We will provide this where required by law, typically covering basic account and transaction information you have provided to us.
