About Our Licenses
A23D offers different license types to match your needs, whether you're a student experimenting with 3D assets, a freelancer working on client projects, or a company building commercial products.
This page helps you understand which license is right for you. All licenses are subject to our full Terms of Service and License Agreement.
Free Non-Commercial License (Single User)
Who it's for: Students, hobbyists, and anyone creating personal or educational projects without any revenue or commercial gain.
What you can do:
- Download and use Free Assets for personal, educational, and non-commercial projects
- Experiment, practice, and learn with A23D Assets
- Create portfolio pieces and personal art (as long as you're not selling them)
Important restrictions:
- You cannot use Free Assets in any commercial or for-profit projects
- You cannot sell, monetize, or use Free Assets in any business context
- Free Assets are provided "as is" with no support or warranty
- A23D may modify or terminate access to Free Assets at any time
- If you want to use an Asset commercially later, you must upgrade to a commercial license
Individual Commercial License (Single User)
Who it's for: Freelancers, independent creators, and solo developers earning within the annual revenue limit of their selected plan.
What you can do:
- Use Assets in both commercial and non-commercial projects
- Create client work, independent games, animations, and more
- Integrate Assets into your freelance projects and deliver final products to clients
- Use Assets for personal projects as well
Important restrictions:
- This license is for one person only – you cannot share your account or Assets with others
- Only available if your annual revenue is under $100,000 USD
- Cannot be used for work at or on behalf of a company, studio, or organization
- Assets must stay on your personal devices – no shared servers or network storage
- You cannot share raw Assets with clients – only deliver finished integrated projects
- You cannot resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Assets themselves
Business Commercial License (Multi-User)
Who it's for: Companies, studios, and organizations with multiple team members whose annual revenue falls within the limit of their selected plan.
What you can do:
- Use Assets across your organization with multiple team members (based on number of seats purchased)
- Create unlimited commercial and non-commercial projects for your business
- Store Assets on company servers and internal asset libraries
- Grant access to employees and on-site contractors (up to your licensed seat count)
Important restrictions:
- Only available if your organization's annual revenue is under $1,000,000 USD
- Assets can only be shared among licensed Authorized Users within your organization
- Cannot share Assets across sister companies, subsidiaries, or external entities – each needs its own license
- External contractors need either their own license or must be covered as an Authorized User under your license
- Must not exceed your licensed seat count – additional users require additional licenses
- Cannot redistribute raw Assets or use them to create competing asset libraries
Enterprise License (Custom)
Who it's for: Large organizations, companies with revenue over $1,000,000, or businesses requiring special use cases.
What it offers:
- Custom licensing terms tailored to your organization's needs
- Unlimited users or custom seat arrangements
- Potential permissions for special use cases (such as redistributable projects or certain AI/ML applications)
- Extensive enterprise deployment options

Which License Do I Need?
Choose Free Non-Commercial if: You're a student, hobbyist, or creating personal projects with no commercial intent.
Choose Individual Commercial if: You're a solo freelancer or independent creator earning under $100,000/year and working alone.
Choose Business Commercial if: You're part of a team, studio, or company with multiple users and revenue under $1,000,000/year.
Choose Enterprise if: You're a large organization, earn over $1,000,000/year, or need custom licensing arrangements.
Key Rules for All Licenses
- You can only use Assets under the license type you've purchased or subscribed to
- Revenue limits must be respected – upgrade when you exceed the threshold
- Raw Assets cannot be redistributed, resold, or shared outside permitted use
- Assets can only be integrated into finished projects, not distributed as standalone files
- Each license type has specific user and organizational restrictions
